Morgan McIntosh
“Leadership and community with a vision for our future”
Morgan's
Morgan McIntosh was appointed as County Commissioner in January 2026 after the passing of our dear friend, Commissioner Rich Regovich. Morgan was appointed to Commissioner Regovich’s seat, and he is currently running in the November election to serve the remainder of the unexpired term. Before serving as County Commissioner, Morgan was elected to two terms as a Concord Township Trustee. Before he was elected Concord Trustee, Morgan served for 10 years on the Concord Township Zoning Commission. In 2019, Morgan also served as the Township representative to the Concord-Painesville JEDD.
Morgan earned his BS in law enforcement from Minnesota State University. While attending MSU, Morgan was active in law enforcement as a Police Explorer, Public Service Officer, and Reserve Officer. Morgan began his career in law enforcement working as an intern, and then a Cadet with the St. Paul Minnesota Police Department before graduating from the Academy as a Police Officer.
After Morgan began his career in law enforcement, he moved to Ohio to join his family’s business, AMFM. Morgan worked his way up to Operations Manager and then President of the company. During Morgan’s 20 years as President, AMFM grew to over 5 times its original size, which created jobs and drove business right here to Lake County. During his time running AMFM, Morgan was an active member of Vistage International, a global CEO mentoring organization. In 2022, Morgan sold the company and officially retired from his business career.
Outside of business, Morgan has been involved in several community and business organizations. He is a graduate of the Cleveland Leadership Institute and Cleveland Bridge Builders. As a Bridge Builder, Morgan helped the Lake County Free Clinic establish fundraising sources and an annual fundraising event. Morgan works for the Lake County Board of Elections as an Election Day Rover. He has served on the Learning About Business Board and has volunteered as a day chair and guest speaker.
Morgan and his wife Lynn have lived together in Concord Township for 26 years. Lynn is an experienced Pharmacist with the Department of Veterans Affairs, working at the Lewis Stokes VA Hospital in Cleveland.
In 2023, Morgan successfully achieved his lifelong dream of becoming a licensed pilot, earning his certificate and purchasing his own airplane. Morgan and Lynn still enjoy flying together to travel and see wonderful sights from way up high.
